Trump cautions ‘everyone’ to escape Tehran
The two countries have been exchanging attacks since Israel struck Iran’s nuclear and military sites last Friday — a move it described as a preemptive attack against Iran’s suspected nuclear ambitions. Iran denied those charges, called the strikes a declaration of war, and responded by launching several ballistic attacks of its own.
“Iran should have made a deal when I offered it. Such a shame and a waste of human life. Iran simply cannot have a nuclear weapon — I’ve said it repeatedly!” Trump wrote in his post, adding: “Everyone needs to evacuate Tehran immediately.”
Trump insisted the USA “had nothing to do with the attack on Iran” but hinted at severe retaliation if Iran were to attack US assets. He avoided specifying what might trigger US intervention, stating: “I don't want to talk about that.”
Meanwhile, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced the deployment of additional defensive resources to the Middle East to help safeguard US forces. According to Military Watch Magazine, more than 30 aerial refueling tankers were deployed across the Atlantic — a dramatic and unprecedented move — suggesting a potential escalation of US involvement in the conflict.
Israel, meanwhile, has reportedly asked the US for specialized bunker-buster munitions to destroy Iran’s fortified nuclear sites — a capability its own army currently lacks.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made headlines by refusing to rule out a direct attack on Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stating: “It’s going to end the conflict.”
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi insisted Iran did not start the conflict and has no wish to prolong it. Nevertheless, Iran, he said, is prepared to “fight to the last drop of blood” to protect its land and avoid being forced into a “forever war” by the US.
